Markus Muschke studied physics and computer science at the University of Hamburg and specialized in low-temperature physics and phenomena of superconductivity and magnetism. Subsequently, he gained industrial experience at Siemens AG in the fields of semiconductor optoelectronics and computer development.

Mr. Muschke has gained experience in the field of intellectual property law since 1988. Mr. Muschke has been a patent attorney since 1992, a professional representative before the European Patent Office since 1994, and a partner in our firm since 1997. He is also a European trademark and design attorney.

In 2005, Mr. Muschke trained to become a Master of Laws (LL.M., Univ.) In the field of European intellectual property law.

Markus Muschke oversees national and international clients with a focus on the Asian and US region, which he also travels regularly. He conducts patent prosecition, opposition, nullity and trademark and design proceedings for our clients and also advises on all intellectual property litigation matters. In addition, Mr. Muschke has conducted numerous direct negotiations with the other party for our clients. His constant endeavour is to provide our clients with flexible advice taking into account all necessary circumstances, thereby promoting the added value of their intellectual property.
